Minnesota State Fair
We went to Minneapolis for the summer— where Evan’s from. It was beautiful and we rode bikes every day and one day we took the plunge. To the Minnesota State Fair— one of the biggest state fairs in the country.
I’d never been to a state fair before in my life and I grew up in LA and New York, so I wasn’t all too familiar with AMERICA America. Holy shit my mind was blown.
This was maybe 5% of the madness. Now, on to the FOOD.
Best corndogs ever.
Pork chop on a stick.
Deep fried cheese curds. Insanely delicious.
Deep fried twinkie on a stick. Nothing special.
Honey competition in the Agriculture/Horticulture building.
Snack mix winners.
Deep fried pickle chips.
Sugared mini donuts.

Mississippi Bean Eater.
Later on we saw RUSH!!!! at the grand band stand and it was amazing. Lenienkugels Honey Weisse beer, fireworks, more corndogs and a root beer float. All with my favorite baby in the whole world. BEST DATE EVER.
